La Forêt

Wendy Sherwood is the chocolatier and owner of La Forêt Chocolate & Confections in Napa, California.

Formerly Pastry Chef de Partie and principal chocolatier for The French Laundry, Wendy worked with leading chocolatiers and restaurateurs in France and the U.S. prior to realizing her lifelong dream of having a place to design and execute her own vision.

In addition to the chocolate service for Benu, La Forêt produces small-batch chocolates and confections, as well as custom baked goods from her shop in Napa. The selection varies, based on the availability of fresh, seasonal supplies.

Whenever possible, Wendy sources directly from local producers. At La Forêt, her goal is to create the best possible products without compromise.
